COVID-19 aid: What support this fall for hoteliers?

Hoteliers feared the end of certain aids and in particular the disappearance of the solidarity fund coming to an end on August 31, with Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire announcing the end of “whatever the cost” while promising to do “tailor-made” things. The verdict was in on Monday 30 August and the new provisions relating to “COVID” aid are now known. While the most affected sectors, including the hotel and restaurant industry, will continue to be supported in the coming months, the modalities will change. Read the article

CCI Paris Ile-de-France 2021 edition: annual business tourism study and infographics

Activity close to zero in the first half of 2021 but prospects for recovery.
The salons in Île-de-France were not authorized to be held in a “physical” version between January and mid-June 2021. Only six took place during the second half of June, following the announcement of a gradual resumption of events. While this signal bodes well for the autumn fairs, activity was however almost non-existent during the first half of the year. The economic impact of the health crisis is therefore already considerable for 2021.
